Not as good as Ant Heaven, but it is fun when there is a rare find. :) This little critter made a surprise visit to my neighbor's house. It looks like he looked up and smiled just for the camera. :)

Ant Heaven :) This was a quick photo I snapped of my friends wild flower plant in her garden. I have obviously put my own artistic touches on the photo. I thought...that looks like those ants are in heaven on such a beautiful flower...thus the name...Ant Heaven

Lesson to the wise... Watch how loudly you enjoy a conversation! I was at the park with a friend...sitting...enjoying the conversation in the heat. I turned on my daughters little hand fan which wasn't working much to my dismay. Along came a burst of wind and I turned the fan into the wind and exclaimed ... IT WORKS!! Well, two ladies came over and asked..so have you really tried it?? Does it really work?? I looked at my friend and she looked at me... The lady went further to explain that they were talking about putting a urine drop from a pregnant woman onto Drano to determine the sex of the child when they heard me exclaim IT WORKS... I had to tell her that it was the fan I was playing with and I don't have personal experience with that method of sexing babies. :) So...next time, I will keep my jubilation to a low roar, lest I be inadvertantly mistaken as a willing participant in someone else's conversation!! :)

Finally getting around to some scrapping. :) I will have to admit this is the easy way out - Ploppers - but, it works for me and my tight schedule these days! :) I was going through a lot of my old photos and am in the process of trying to bring them up to standard. :) I thought this would be good as a b/w photo, but still wanted some color, so I split the difference and made the photo desaturated leaving a tiny hint of the color. Gosh I miss these days! :)
